Whisperin’ Ry Jennings (Teddy & the Rough Riders, Emily Nenni) was born and raised in Nashville, TN. His parents named him after Ry Cooder, and he later received the name “Whisperin” from the legendary Santa of Santa’s Pub due to his gentle voice that blends effortlessly with other voices in close harmony.
His first solo album “Whisperin’ Ry” blends the country rock storytelling of Neil Young with the dreamy harmonies of Harry Nilsson and the eclectic, explorative sound of Wilco.
