Dexter+Franz - "Panoramic Highway - Vinyl LP Preorder

Dexter+Franz return with their second long play album Panoramic Highway. An eclectic mix of ambient, kosmische, bossa nova, and library music that plays like a soundtrack to a lost nature documentary. 

Recorded primarily at the Panoramic House in Marin County during the fall of 2023, the instrumental duo channel the coastal environment with flowing synth arpeggios, bubbling drum  machines, evolving harmonies and hypnotic guitar riffs. Weaving effortlessly through Panoramic Highway are sampled and synthesized sounds of tide pools, beaches and the open ocean - a constant reminder of the marine ecosystems that surround us. 

Further elevating Panoramic Highway are contributions from percussionist Justin Peters, jazzy touches of EVI by Will Miller (Resavoir) and lush stereophonic Rhodes by Garrett Spoelhof.

Dexter+Franz is the collaborative recording project of LA based multi-instrumentalist John Dexter Marston and Chicago based producer/guitarist Michael Franz Novak. Their eclectic style blends improvised performances of ambient electronics, acoustic instrumentals and immersive field recordings. The duo’s records to-date channel the elemental nature of the world around us with layered, cinematic production.

Panoramic Highway will be released digitally and on vinyl through Nudie Records / Tunnel Records on November 6.
